Portray your opponent at every opportunity as evil, covert, and a danger to the nation. All tricks are allowed including planting false stories.
EXPLOIT EVENTS
New leaders become the interpreters of a daily stream of news events.
INFILTRATE
Infiltrate groups including churches. Find the local opinion leaders (not necessarily leaders of the groups, can be successful businessmen, the local pastor, etc.), who group members look up to. Recruit them to be your voice in the group, and the interpreter of events to its

REPEAT
A hallmark of this form of propaganda is that easily discredited lies are repeated and strengthened to reinforce a false reality.
THE LANGUAGE
The language is an insistent and repetitious listing of the frustration, damage, deprivation and injustice they have suffered.
THE SCAPEGOAT
A scapegoat is designated as the source of all ills in the nation. The hatred and anger

MOCKERY
Opponents and opposing groups are taken down with mockery and derision. This can be done in speeches, but also with cartoons, caricatures, exaggeration, and lies.
THE SPECTACLE
Events and rallies must be massive. Create a “sea” of armbands (or red hats). People inside are made to feel omnipotent, while outsiders are made to feel afraid.
DISCREDIT
All media that conflict with the new “truth” are accused of spreading malicious or false news.
INCITE AGGRESSION
Rallies and events are used to create a thirst for aggression. From chants about fighting to
beating up protesters, aggression and violence are praised as heroic.
